Strengths:
I already have a lot of people willing to be a part of this project which moves me forward quite a few steps.
Weaknesses:
I currently do not have locations of where I am going to be filming my documentary interviews and the possible establishing shots and reconstructions. I also am not 100% confident in Adobe After Effects, so this task I have set myself to create graphics for this documentary could be something that sets me back or could make the documentary look unprofessional and unpresentable.
Another weakness that I have at the moment is that all the people that have agreed to be in the documentary are all kind of associated with in the same niche, including gender, therefore, I do still need to find some people of the other gender to be a part of my documentary since my target audience is primarily based around age (15-21), rather than gender.
Opportunities:
I haven't seen any documentaries that focus on the mental health of young people and exams recently. This means that there is a sort of market for this sort of documentary since it's not being overdone already. It is also the perfect time to make a documentary like this since it will be exam season when I being to film this project meaning that I will possibly be able to have follow-up interviews with a couple of people asking how some of their exams went. My USP is the fact that this documentary takes factors into account that you may not associate with education and exams to show how unrelated events and incidents can affect students at such a crucial time.
Threats:
The main threat I face is from my documentary subjects dropping out since they may decide at any point that they do not feel comfortable opening up to a camera about things they may not want to be known by a lot of people.
